Some highlights from our 2023 Shingle Style and Victorian Era tour in Marblehead and Swampscott, MA. Works seen and discussed included designs by architects George Snell, Arthur H. Bowditch, Henry W. Rogers, and Arthur Little. The homes were once lived in by many interesting and prominent individuals in local, Boston, and state history and their stories reminded us of the differences between their era and ours.
