a close up of a sign

In March 2025 we were thrilled to host another fun tour of midcentury and modernist architecture, this time in northern Westchester County, New York! As early as the 1940s, prolific, prominent, and talented designers were leaving their modernist mark in the county. The list includes Frank Lloyd Wright and his disciples, the Harvard Five and other graduates of the school, and many other award-winning architects. Also intriguing are many of the people that commissioned these progressive designers, sometimes creatives themselves!

Special interior stops included homes designed by Marcel Breuer, Wright protege David Henken, Roy Sigvard Johnson, and Horace and Frederick Ginsbern!
